As part of our strong commitment to top quality, we attach especially great importance to checking and testing every aft automotive product manufactured. Our certifications under DIN EN ISO 9001 , DIN EN ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 additionally reassure our customer and partners, providing globally recognised proof of our professional competence and effectiveness.

Checking

Every single product made by aft automotive is checked multiple times before it goes to the customer. Our various specialised departments have comprehensive procedures and equipment at their disposal for testing materials and components in our own in-house test facility.

In addition to functional and endurance testing, also under varying climatic conditions, we operate high-precision facilities for testing materials. These activities are supported by a state-of-the-art 3D printer which very quickly turns out prototypes, also for initial functional tests.

High-Quality Materials

We use materials of outstanding quality to make durable, high-quality products for our customers.

And we’re not alone in this endeavour: our suppliers also responsibly manage the materials and chemicals which they use, diligently avoiding the use of any substances that might cause hazards or harm. To meet these goals, the composition of all components and materials is determined via the International Material Data System (IMDS), a global repository containing information on materials used by the automotive industry. In addition, both we and our suppliers scrupulously adhere to all regulations cited in the Global Automotive Declarable Substance List (GADSL) as well as all other directives worldwide that might impact the lifecycle of products.

Development

Our development department uses the standard 3D CAD programs and validation methods which are well-established in the automotive industry.

We have our own prototyping department as well as an in-house testing facility for double-checking the functionality, durability and handling of our advanced solutions. This is important for making sure that they meet our customers’ requirements.

This enables us to offer our customers the full spectrum of validation services from one source. To ensure this going forwards, we continually expand our testing facility’s capabilities.
